Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using TrackSpy ("the App"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Who Can Use TrackSpy
TrackSpy is intended for:
- Parents or legal guardians monitoring minor children's devices
- Couples or individuals who have obtained explicit mutual consent from the person being tracked
- Employers monitoring company-owned devices with employee knowledge and consent
You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
3. Consent Requirement
By installing TrackSpy on any device, you confirm and warrant that you have obtained full, informed, and explicit consent from the owner of that device — OR that you are the legal parent or guardian of a minor whose device is being monitored.
Both the account holder and the device owner are jointly responsible for ensuring consent exists before the App is installed. TechSip does not verify consent between parties. The responsibility lies entirely with the user.
TechSip shall not be held liable for any disputes, legal claims, damages, or consequences arising from the installation or use of this App on any device — with or without the knowledge of the device owner. By using this App, you accept full legal and moral responsibility for how it is used.
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not use TrackSpy to:
- Track any person without their knowledge or consent (except minor children under your legal guardianship)
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, or harm any individual
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
- Monitor employees on personal devices without their written consent
- Collect or misuse location data for any commercial purpose
Violation of these terms will result in immediate account termination without refund.
5. Data Collection & Storage
TrackSpy collects and stores:
- GPS location data — latitude, longitude, accuracy, timestamp
- Device identifiers — Android device ID
- Account information — email, name, encrypted password
Data retention: Location data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting support@techsip.io.
We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any third parties except as required by law.
6. Privacy
Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Access is restricted to your account only. Admin access is used solely for technical support and maintenance purposes.
7. Subscription & Payments
- TrackSpy offers a free trial period upon registration
- After the trial, a subscription is required to continue using the service
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by law or as described in Section 8
- TechSip reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
8. Refund & Service Downtime Policy
Refunds
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started
- If you were charged due to a payment processing error or double charge, a full refund will be issued within 48 hours upon verification — contact support@techsip.io
- Refunds are not issued for unused periods, forgotten cancellations, or dissatisfaction with the service
Service Downtime
In the event of a continuous service outage exceeding 24 hours, affected subscribers will receive a subscription extension equal to the duration of the outage. This extension is the sole and exclusive remedy for any service interruption.
- Short outages (under 24 hours) are not eligible for compensation
- Downtime caused by factors outside TechSip's control — including third-party service failures, internet outages, or force majeure events — is not eligible for compensation
- To claim a downtime extension, contact support@techsip.io within 7 days of the incident with your registered email
TechSip does not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided on a best-effort basis. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- TechSip provides TrackSpy "as is" without warranties of any kind
- TechSip is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the App
- TechSip is not responsible for how users choose to use the App or for any disputes between the account holder and the person being tracked
- Location data is provided on a best-effort basis. Accuracy may vary depending on the device, GPS signal, network conditions, and surrounding environment. TechSip does not guarantee the precision of any location information displayed.
- TechSip's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 3 months
10. Account Termination
TechSip reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your use of the App causes harm to others
- Required by law enforcement or court order
11. Changes to Terms
TechSip may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
